Mosupatsela FM Stereo is a community radio station started broadcasting in 2000. The station is based in Botshabelo and broadcasts to Mangaung Metro (Parts of Bloemfontein, Botshabelo and Thaba Nchu) and other areas in the Motheo region (including Wepener, Hobhouse, Tweespruit, Excelsior, Winburg, Dewetsdorp). The station broadcasts 24 hours in the following languages: Sotho, Tswana, Xhosa and English.

The station is governed by a ten-board membership elected by the community every 4 years and managed by 6 full-time staff. The station has 30 on-air volunteer staff. The station generates most of its income from advertising.

Some of the achievements of the station include:

- Winning Professional Management Review awards

- Some of its on-air talent has been hired by national radio station

- Out of 9 community radio station based in the Free State, the station is currently number two in terms of listener-ship

- The station has developed the capacity to carry various live broadcasts e.g. soccer commentary, events

- In the past two years, the station was able to erect new offices and studios, thereby improving its capability in terms of administration and on-air output.

The station has submitted an application to ICASA to extend its coverage to the rest of Bloemfontein (which is the center of activities, economically and otherwise). It is envisaged that this move will benefit the station in various way
